We have been working on our story maps for Jasper’s beanstalk and exploring the gardening area. We have also been thinking about Roman music and compared roman instruments to modern day ones.
Some of yellow class enjoyed learning to sew in enrichment this morning. Today is Aaron’s birthday and yellow and red class enjoyed cakes this afternoon to celebrate!
Today we were visited by some reptiles, all the children enjoyed holding snakes, lizards, millipedes, chinchillas and a tortoise! We then did some writing describing our favourite reptile.

Today we have had lots of fun, we have played party games. This morning we posted our letters to Santa and then enjoyed our Christmas lunch. Today is Amanda’s birthday and she treated us to yummy cakes this morning!
Today we put our class Christmas tree up. We measured our tinsel and explored our tree decorations. We decided to go to the garden centre to buy some new decorations and to look at all the Christmas displays.
Alex visited us during Diwali to talk to us about the celebration. We were able to make and taste raita. Some of us liked this and some of us did not!
We were the winners of the 2p trail in the SU so today we have been to Toys R Us to spend our winnings! We chose the game Frustration and some bubbles. Please share your bus reading book that will come home tonight in book bags.
Today we visited Weston Favell Shopping Centre to collect ideas for sound poems. We recorded our ideas whilst we were at Weston Favell and then wrote our own poems back at school.
