This week Yellow Class have been investigating if they could melt ice quickly. We took the temperature of the ice using thermometers. We were surprised when the temperature dropped to -5*C when we added salt! . We were able to see that chocolate can be a liquid or a solid and this change is reversible.
What a busy couple of weeks we have had! The children made some lovely asteroid cakes last Friday and used their weighing and measuring skills to help them with this. Today they had a visit from the farm: we were so proud of the questions that they asked the farmer and how gentle they were […]
We have been learning how to measure and weigh in maths. The children are starting to understand how to use a ruler and a meter stick.
We all enjoyed a fantastic trip to the Royal and Derngate Theatre to see The Tiger who came to Tea. This week we have been continuing to learn about the planets and space. Have a lovely and relaxing weekend. Yellow Class team.
Yellow class have had an exciting day! This morning they visited Brixworth Country Park, luckily the weather remained fine. This afternoon they were all a different planet: ask your child which planet they were, they may even know a fact about their planet.
Thank you all for coming to see your wonderful stars shine.
Yellow class had a fantastic time on their first residential to Everdon! We enjoyed spending time in the woods, den building, toasting marshmallows and splashing in the stream.
Despite the wet weather we still managed to get out to Abington Park with our Year 4 friends! We enjoyed looking at the cygnets in the lake, and had fun running and climbing. We all enjoyed an ice lolly too!

We know the weather can be very changeable in the springtime. Back at school we collected words about springtime and wrote […]
